SublimeWeb Regular Season Hockey Pool
He Shoots, He Scores!!!
The regular season hockey pool is a box style pool, with players listed 5 to a box. Each team selects one player from each box, giving them 21 skaters and 3 goaltenders. Scoring is based on goals & assists for all players, and wins & shutouts for goalies. The team accumulating the most points during the regular season is the winner. Prizes, based on standing at the end of the season, are paid out to at least 10% of the entrants. Beginning with the 2007-2008 pool, bonus prizes will be awarded for the team with the most points over a specified time period. Beginning of Season - November 30, December 1 - January 31, February 1 - End of Regular Season.
The regular season pool opens for registrations in early September and closes when the first puck is dropped to start the season. Unlimited changes to your team are available up until the deadline. Follow your team through the regular season with regular updates, a new injury status, regular recaps, and the league message board to talk a little 'smack' to your fellow competitors.
